Community Meal Packaging Event in Raleigh, North Carolina
Details: Calling all Hunger Champions in (or near) Raleigh — you’re invited to a special community meal packaging event on October 18! At this Rise Against Hunger Experience, you’ll come together with local volunteers from many diverse groups representing a variety of faiths, backgrounds and perspectives to package over 100,000 meals to support nutrition, education and health for children and families facing hunger right now around the world. Everyone is welcome to participate. Register below for this fun, high-impact, family-friendly event!

Starbird Fundraiser in Bay Area, California for World Food Day
Details: Save the date! On World Food Day, October 16, you can make a lasting impact in the fight against ending global hunger while enjoying your favorite meal. At Starbird Chicken, a local food restaurant in the San Fransisco Bay Area, 15% of sales will be donated to Rise Against Hunger on World Food Day, October 16. When placing an order online, through their mobile app or at a kiosk, use the code RAH at checkout. It starts with a meal, and it starts with you!

Details: Exciting news! For the fourth year, Rise Against Hunger has been selected as a Community Partner for the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon on November 2, 2025.

McLean Community Meal Packaging Event
Details: We have an upcoming opportunity for Hunger Champions in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to give back and have a hands-on impact in the work to end world hunger. Join volunteers from Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and from throughout Fairfax County for a community meal packaging event in McLean, Virginia. You’ll work alongside local Hunger Champions to help package 200,000 nutritious meals! These volunteer-packaged meals will make a big impact by providing critical food for people facing hunger globally. Three 2.5-hour volunteer shifts are available. Sign up for the event and select a shift time at the link below! You’re welcome to also invite your friends and family to register.

Details: Come support Rise Against Hunger and the Nashville Predators as they take on the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday, February 26 at 7 p.m. $5 of each ticket purchased benefits Rise Against Hunger as we work to fight hunger in communities facing food insecurity.
