Emily Teh, CEO of Zambrero UK, shares her experience going on a vision trip to South Africa to visit programs supported by Zambrero’s partnership with Rise Against Hunger.
At a meal packaging event hosted on December 14, 2024, the Million Meal Project, a local nonprofit started by the Blumberg family in Edgemont, New York, reached the impactful milestone of 1 million meals packaged.
As Abbigail Pearman works as a Rise Against Hunger event coordinator, she is also working toward her Master’s in Public Health, which enabled her to intern at the United Nations Headquarters in NYC this summer.
Since 2010, Dunwoody United Methodist Church has packaged 4 million meals, hosted 25 Rise Against Hunger Experiences, and engaged more than 10,000 Hunger Champions to alleviate global hunger.
