Grab Your Aprons and Get Ready for the Sizzling 2023 Chef Showdown

Are you ready to cook up some sizzling dishes with chefs from across the globe? It’s time to grab your aprons for the return of the It Starts With a Meal™ Chef Showdown. Returning for the third year, Chef Showdown, our virtual cooking competition, brings together talented chefs in support of growing the movement to end hunger, where you — our community of Hunger Champions – can cast your vote for your favorite chef across our social media channels.

In commemoration of World Food Day, the annual holiday established by the United Nations on October 16, Chef Showdown is an impactful opportunity to generate action toward addressing the critical challenges of global hunger.

This year, four chefs will compete by creating recipes inspired by the regions where Rise Against Hunger works to alleviate hunger. From October 10-13, stay tuned to our Instagram and Facebook pages to watch each chef’s cooking demonstration video and to vote for your favorite chef. The chef who collects the most likes, shares and comments on their Chef Showdown video segment wins the Golden Whisk Award – your engagement will also pave the way toward the fight against hunger, nourishing lives in remote, last-mile communities.
