A Reason to Celebrate! NRIVA Has Packaged 1 Million Meals Since 2019

Taking action today to end hunger tomorrow inspired Rise Against Hunger partner NRI Vasavi Association (NRIVA) to become a part of Growing the Movement to help people facing food insecurity.

NRIVA is a non-profit organization based in St. Louis, Missouri, with a mission to support underprivileged people in education and health. Since 2019, NRIVA has hosted more than 23 Rise Against Hunger Experiences and engaged 1,367 Hunger Champions to work together and package nutritious meals for people around the globe facing hunger. These events have created an impactful team-bonding experience for NRIVA in many communities across the country where their local chapters are located.

In 2023, NRIVA reached a significant milestone of packaging 1 million meals, nourishing millions of lives across the globe. Not only is this organization passionate about serving others, but they’re also paving the way for empowering communities and creating bright futures worldwide. It starts with a meal, and it starts with passionate volunteer groups like NRIVA! Below is a recap of their incredible impact over the last four years.
