Last month, Elevation Church achieved an incredible milestone of impact: 5 million meals packaged with Rise Against Hunger since 2011! 

The milestone occurred during LOVE Week, the church’s annual week of service that engages thousands of people each year. From July 26 to August 2, 2025, volunteers from Elevation Church campuses across the United States and around the world came together to volunteer and give back. 

Rise Against Hunger has been honored to be part of this special week for several years by facilitating meal packaging events with Elevation Church. This year, Elevation Church hosted 16 meal packaging events across seven U.S. states (North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, New Jersey, Texas, Georgia and Pennsylvania) and three countries (South Africa, India and the Philippines). In total, volunteers packaged over 400,000 meals in the span of one week!  

And that’s not all. At the meal packaging event held in Raleigh, North Carolina, Elevation Church’s 5 millionth meal was packaged! We were so grateful to reach this impactful milestone with Elevation Church, and it was a moment to celebrate at the Raleigh event — and all 16 events happening during LOVE Week. 5 million meals have enabled thousands of children to receive nutritious food for an entire school year, supporting their health and education. 

This impactful milestone was 14 years in the making. Elevation Church hosted its first meal packaging event with Rise Against Hunger in February 2011. It has been a truly transformational partnership, with the church hosting 147 events and engaging over 30,000 volunteers in meal packaging since then.
